Very convenient location, friendly staff, cheap price, easily accessible by train/subway, traditional rooms.
All was perfect.

The price was unbelievable. At 800 yen per night you shouldn't expect much. It was very basic, just a place to crash for the night. The room was pretty clean. The public bath had hot water and was clean. Only two subway stops away from the center of Osaka (Namba) and Umeda (4 stops). The front desk people were nice and held my bags when I checked out before I left for my flight back home.
The place was extremely basic, and I would not recommend to less adventurous or newbie travelers. It was kind of cold perhaps they should have provided a small heater; it would probably be better in the summer. I aIso wish the wifi was not limited to the front desk.

I was blown away by how easy it was to find this hotel! It's conveniently located near two railway stations, including one that is perfect for rail pass holders. And can we talk about the price? It's jaw-droppingly affordable! The staff here are super friendly and there's even a coin laundry place just a few steps away. But what really surprised me was the room itself. The wooden floor and bed on the floor actually turned out to be surprisingly comfortable. I had a mind-blowingly great experience at this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Shit! If I was instead of Booked.net I would change the name of hotel to bad dormitory. the rooms are too dirty and small. The toilets are too dirty. There are two dogs in front of the door and shared bathroom. My wife was afraid of them all the time. I recommend to destryo Diamond Hotel!

The hotel is conveniently located near two train stations, making it easy to explore the city. It is just a short walk from the subway station and also near the train station Shin Imamiya. This makes it convenient for families with young children, as they can easily hop on the train and explore the city. Additionally, there are plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby, providing a variety of dining options for families.
The lobby area is often filled with cigarette smoke, which can be unpleasant for non-smokers.

Nothing to like!
This hotel was the worst hotel that I have had in my life. - AMAZINGLY DIRTY ROOM!!! You cannot believe how dirty it was: dirt on the walls, an air conditioner from the time of its invention with a bad smell,.. - AMAZINGLY DIRTY HOTEL: The restroom was smelling as ammonia due to aged non-cleaned toilets. - The location is far away from the center. - The given English name is not written in the entrance of the hotel, which makes hard to find its location. - The front desk asks 1000 Yen as deposit for the key. I did not have a cash nor the old man did not accept visa: we have discussed with the old man for a while. At last one guy sitting in the lobby gave money for the deposit.

Close to Shin-Imamiya station and easy to find
Crazy! Since it is a hotel and I rent a single room why do I have to pay for room's key? And it was not mentioned in the information. I just surprised when I asked the key and the owner asked me extra money in return.

I recently stayed at Hotel Diamond for a few nights during my trip to Osaka. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, despite the language barrier. They provided a helpful English guide with all the information I needed. The hotel's location was perfect, with a Family Mart nearby and within walking distance to popular attractions like Dotonbori. The room was sufficient for two people with all the necessary amenities including a fridge, TV, and heater. The heated seats in the toilets were a nice touch. it was great value for money.
Would recommend this hotel.

Cheap place to stay if you're only there a few hours.
Bathrooms are not clean, rooms small, and other guests are creepy old men. Stick together and you'll be fine.

I honestly can not write anything positive about my stay at Hotel Diamond and am only compelled to write this review as a steer clear warning to any other travellers.
Beds were filthy The place was crawling with coackroaches The sheets were dirty and had hairs on them There was blood on the floor A bench in a park would have been more cleaner than the room I had at hotel diamond. The area was a ghetto
